Our Activities
KAMLA CRAFT FOUNDATION
Participation in Kala Ghoda Art Festival
Kamla Craft Foundation proudly participated in the prestigious Kala Ghoda Art Festival in Mumbai, showcasing the timeless beauty of Blue Pottery. Our artisans displayed their exquisite handcrafted pieces. They received immense appreciation from art lovers and visitors. This platform allowed us to promote our traditional craft, connect with a wider audience, and inspire more people to support and celebrate the rich heritage of Blue Pottery.

Exporting Products
We proudly say that our blue pottery creations are receiving worldwide appreciation, with orders from abroad. Our products are exported to countries including the UK, USA, and other countries. This is a significant opportunity for us, and we believe it will help us become recognised as a hub of blue pottery. Our artisans can achieve their dreams and improve their lives through this international success.

Training on Blue Pottery
At Kamla Craft Foundation, we pour our hearts into providing comprehensive training on Blue Pottery to trainees. We believe in imparting complete knowledge, nurturing their passion, and unlocking their full potential in this beautiful art form. Our goal is to bring out the best in each artisan, encouraging growth, innovation, and a deep appreciation for Blue Pottery.
We have also provided training to people of the Kaalbelia community, who traditionally earned their livelihood through snake charming. Due to the Wildlife Protection Act by the Indian Government, their profession and income source were affected. Through our efforts, they are now earning a stable income.
Our goal is to advance this art form, ensuring its legacy thrives for generations to come, rooted in creativity and dedication.

Grocery Distribution
As part of our humanitarian works, during the Covid-19 pandemic, we arranged grocery and ration distribution in rural, marginalised Jaipur. It was a very tough time for many people who lost their jobs and struggled to meet their basic needs. Understanding their plight, we distributed grocery and ration kits to these families to support them during these challenging times.

Exhibitions and Workshops
We also organise blue pottery art exhibitions across our country, where our artisans showcase their stunning creations. Our workshops warmly welcome newcomers eager to learn this beautiful art. We offer residential training opportunities for short-term workshops, providing all basic daily needs. Our main purpose behind these initiatives is to integrate fresh talents and inspire them to adopt this art form professionally, and to spread the beauty of blue pottery beyond Rajasthan.

Women Empowerment
Kamla Craft Foundation is a testament to women empowerment, as the team of artisans consists of a sound number of female members. Along with training in pottery art, they receive education on financial literacy to effectively manage their finances, including budgeting and investing. The foundation also promotes digital literacy among them, enabling the use of social media platforms to showcase their products, reach a broader audience, and attract potential customers. Through these efforts, they strive to empower women to earn their own livelihoods and contribute financially to their families.
